I've been playing with a new clay that is the color of chocolate when wet, but after firing it will be jet black! Trying to figure out how bet to utilize this amazing clay! Any suggestions?...

Jenn has come up with a great new logo for us, depicting our kiln in the little shed in the woods. Now that we are out in stores selling as a group we thought we'd show our connection to the world!

The pots are made, the glazes are mixed, the wood's been split; it's time to fire pots!
The Rogue Potters will be out in full force this weekend glazing and decorating our wares, loading up the trusty kiln, lighting the match, and drinking a toast to the kiln gods as we fire our work this weekend!

Another good night in the studio... Sleater Kinney, Sly and the Family Stone, and Morphine all provided the soundtrack for the creativity- it was a good night indeed.
See, it's crunch time as we get ready for the wood firings in two weeks. We got kilns to fill, fans to please, ideas to express, and pots to make!
