Jenn has come up with a great new logo for us, depicting our kiln in the little shed in the woods. Now that we are out in stores selling as a group we thought we'd show our connection to the world!

The pots are made, the glazes are mixed, the wood's been split; it's time to fire pots!

Another good night in the studio... Sleater Kinney, Sly and the Family Stone, and Morphine all provided the soundtrack for the creativity- it was a good night indeed.

I recently scored a Leach Treadle Wheel off of Craigslist that needed some love.
It had seen some use, and obviously had been used quite a bit in the past based on the wear and tear it has. Additional boards for support had been nailed on all over the place, it had been spray painted a bunch of wacky colors, and looks like...
One thing about the Rogue Potters is that we're always up for trying new things. I've always wanted to try pit firing, so I built one in my back yard, Thanks to the kindness of my neighbors for not complaining about the smoke from the flaming sawdust, salt, and copper sulfate.Everything went great until at the ends the bricks...
We're all taking the winter time to stock up on work to get ready for the Spring wood firings begin.
